Bug Description

Binary package hint: indicator-sound

While by now indicator-sound doesn't provide any tooltip (see bug #521309), the indicator should display the currently selected audio output, i.e. the sink that's playing sound.

This is useful, for example, if you have as available audio output the PC internal audio, an Bluetooth headset, and USB speakers.

As example see the tooltip in gnome-volume-control-applet
