Tick boxes appear inside-out in indicator pulldowns (highlighting/shadows upside down). This only seems to happen on start-up (first open/close). Thereafter they fix themselves -- shadows go right way up and are no longer inside-out.

Could be a bug in the toolkit where the UbuntuShape computes its rendering data based on the phone orientation. Maybe the initial orientation is wrong and gets fixed as soon as there's a first orientation event. Have you tried to keep it in the same orientation from boot to first use?
