icon does not change in silent mode

Bug Description
If I pull down on the indicator-network and check 'Silent Mode', the icon does not change.

That's indeed quite annoying, I activated silent mode while I was at a spectacle the other day and then forgot it was on for a full day and missed some calls, it's not the first time...

Mee to, I have the same problem. Is on Silent mode, but the symbol is like normal sound. I am on BQ device.

Can't replicate this on Meizu - the sound indicator icon changes as expected. Seems to be a bq specific bug?
So the desired functionality would be to change the volume indicator to the one with the cross next to it, when phone is in silent mode.

Duping this to the other bug fixed in vivid. We can add an rtm task if we decide to backport.

Right, this is working in vivid but not in rtm.


Unsure why ted closed the other bug, he didn't add a comment explaining why ... Ted?
