Unsure why ted closed the other bug, he didn't add a comment explaining why ... Ted?

That's indeed quite annoying, I activated silent mode while I was at a spectacle the other day and then forgot it was on for a full day and missed some calls, it's not the first time...

Changed in ubuntu-ux:
assignee: nobody → Jouni Helminen (jounihelminen)

Can't replicate this on Meizu - the sound indicator icon changes as expected. Seems to be a bq specific bug?

So the desired functionality would be to change the volume indicator to the one with the cross next to it, when phone is in silent mode.

Changed in ubuntu-ux:
status: New → Fix Committed

I see then the change simply went into vivid and not the branch.

Pat McGowan (pat-mcgowan) wrote :

Duping this to the other bug fixed in vivid. We can add an rtm task if we decide to backport.

Charles Kerr (charlesk) wrote :

Right, this is working in vivid but not in rtm.
