Bug Description
When starting Pithos, indicator-sound crashes. This has been confirmed by multiple users here:
https:/
but it was closed because of the lack of an automatically sent crash report.
Multiple users also reported the problem here:
https:/
This occurs for me on Ubuntu 13.10 and 14.04, 64-bit.
Note that I've installed Pithos manually (not through the repos).
The same function that gave the SIGSEGV had a similar bug that was fixed here:
https:/
I'm attaching the terminal output of indicator-sound. Note the multiple assertions at the end, right before the crash.
I'm going to keep my core dump in case someone wants to take a look at it (it's 46 M).

I'm happy to install debug symbols glib, etc. and reproduce the crash (which is 100% reproducible) if anyone is interested in getting a more informative trace.
