I created a new user, and him have a same issue in "indicator-sound" as a main account. Conclusion:

My OS: Ubuntu 14.04 with Linux 3.13

"Gnome-session-flashback" making something irritable with fonts size in "indicator-sound", what concerns a all user on PC. Everyone.

This is intended. It was designed like this since this menu's inception (2010), and the fact that it briefly used the main font size in all of its components was a regression that got fixed recently. Read bug 1080076 (comment 5) and https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Sound#Indicator_and_menu. Also... I don't really agree it's uglier this way...

This bug is from category "Some Men Just Want to Watch the World Burn". Probably after a week I become accustomed.

I hope so. :) At the standard size, the text was cut off too often and looked like separate menu items.
