Sometimes there are no playback buttons for Audacious inside of the indicator-sound

Bug Description

When I start Audacious by pressing my custom defined shotrtuct key on my keyboard (12.04 x64), the playback buttons are not visible inside of the indicator-sound. I've reported the issue here:

 http://redmine.audacious-media-player.org/issues/222

... but Audacious developers forwared this issue to indicator-sound developers.

I've experienced the same bug too, but only when Audacious is playing in ALSA output: with Pulseaudio output everything runs fine...

I've to add that, when this occurs, the Audacious menubar seems to be freezed, and the program itself appears to be slow and sometimes irresponsive.
