Indicator-me finctionality is useless, why show user name in the indicator-session?

Bug Description
Indicator-session shows now along with the cog currently logged in user name. The question is WHY? Indicator-me did the same thing and has been rightfully removed for it is useless to show a user their own name.
Accounts configuring is done only once and cramming the notification area with such information is also bad.
