Bug Description
indicator-session 0.2.15-0ubuntu1, Ubuntu Natty daily live 20110404
1. Start a live CD or DVD session.
2. Save a file anywhere on the local filesystem, or copy a file onto the local filesystem, or install a program.
3. Choose "Restart" or "Shut Down". (For "Log Out", see bug 750140.)
What happens: The Restart or Shut Down interface appears exactly as normal.
What should happen: You should be warned that the files you saved or copied, or the programs you installed, will be deleted.

on what media did you try? usb-creator should create some persistant storage by default, it's an issue on CDs though
