Bug Description

Binary package hint: indicator-session

lubuntu is going to be official in lucid cycle so it would be great if a port of indicator applet session is created for lxpanel.

Re-affecting to lxpanel and indicator-applet.
In fact, lxpanel need a plugin to host the indicators, like the indicator-applet for gnome-panel. It can be build in lxpanel (as a standart plugin, forking the indicator-applet) or in indicator-applet (as an external plugin for lxpanel).

I may have a testing hack (using solution 1) shortly. But lxpanel is not the only panel which can have indicator supports, so maybe there is a universal solution in progress.

Option 1 was implemented in lxpanel (in lxpanel-indicator-applet-plugin). It's the same option Awn and Xfce are using for the same support.
