Maybe this helps? I get it when I run:
cmcc connect Wireshark

Wireshark is my SSID.

From cmcc.log:

org.moblin.connman.Error.Failed: Input/output error

This looks like connman error. Can you please run indicator-network with debug logs enabled and post /var/log/syslog here:

sudo indicator-network-debug start

More info here:

Oh, sorry. The deb package is missing a file and that's why it's broken.
I filed bug #648582 about this.

Please download indicator-network-daemon-debug from here:

http://bazaar.launchpad.net/~indicator-network-developers/indicator-network/0.2/files/head:/scripts/

And then install it like this:

sudo cp indicator-network-daemon-debug /usr/bin/
sudo chmod 755 /usr/bin/indicator-network-daemon-debug

Now indicator-network-debug should work.

Thank you for your help.

Alright, thank you.

Here is my syslog with the debug info.

Thank you.

I checked it out and it was because that my WPA-key was 64 chars long, not 63. Changed it and now it works like a charm.
Although you might make these errors visible for the user. I did not get any kind of notification at all regarding the connection.

Besides that, it looks good ;)

Changed in indicator-network (Ubuntu):
status: New → Invalid

Ah, if you are using 64 characters long passphrase it means that it's
the actual key and hashing is not used. So this is either a bug in
indicator-network or in connman, that needs to be investigated.

Nice to know.

This is bad and needs to be fixed as well.

Actually I'm going to reopen the bug because I think this is a valid
bug.

Daniel, thank you for your efforts.

Note to myself: the 64 char passphrase need to contain only hexadecimal characters, UI needs to check that.
