Bug Description

Just update mako to #37 (and also when I updated to #36) the wifi was disabled on first boot. It works after flipping the wifi switch in the network indicator, but by default it's off (it should be on IMO).

it should definitely be on after an OTA upgrade if it was on before ...

weather it should be on for the first boot if the device was never connected is a design decision though (IMO)

when you see this happening, before enabling the wifi, get the output of the following commands using adb shell:

# nmcli nm > /tmp/nmcli_nm.txt
# nmcli d > /tmp/nmcli_d.txt
# rfkill list > /tmp/rfkill_list.txt

Then download the following files from the device using adb:
$ adb pull /tmp/nmcli_nm.txt
$ adb pull /tmp/nmcli_d.txt
$ adb pull /tmp/rfkill_list.txt
$ adb pull /var/lib/NetworkManager/NetworkManager.state
$ adb pull /var/log/syslog
$ adb pull /var/log/dmesg
$ adb pull /var/log/upstart/network-manager.log
$ adb pull /var/log/upstart/urfkill.log

And attach those files to this bug report.

Uploaded logs as requested after OTA update from #37 to #38, and wifi was off on first boot after flash.

Was that phone abruptly rebooted just before getting the logs and command output? Seems to me like it was working just fine for a while; for instance, you're actually connected to wireless at:

May 19 09:38:59
May 19 11:45:54
May 19 13:42:54 ...

I don't see you ever connected to mobile data, but I also don't see in the logs any indication as to why; it just looks like the modem never had sufficient signal to connect.

The bug happens most when upgrading the phone image.

I don't recall what reboot was done, but I grabbed the logs right after an update.
I'm in Malta and have roaming off, which may explain why there is no mobile data.
