Unable to disable system tray indicator from running

Bug Description

I can hide or exit all the other useless apps in my system tray except for empathy/telepathy/whatever (envelope in system tray). I think it's good practice to have an exit-option in the menu and perhaps a "never show this indicator" selection somewhere.
