Unable to turn on screen inmediately after receiving a notification

Krilin device with OTA 10.1.

Immediately after receiving an incoming message notification (telegram, missed call, sms, ...) I'm unable to turn on the screen effectively. As I push the power button to turn it on, the screen flashes and fades to black again.

After three or four attempts (~5 seconds) the screen works as expected, although sometimes it brings up the poweroff/reboot menu as if an event related to the power button has been lost.

If I wait some time after receiving the notification the screen turns on correctly without a problem.

Status changed to 'Confirmed' because the bug affects multiple users.

I have the same bug, with one difference, sometimes the screen keeps flashing for over 1 minute, forcing me to hard reset the device.

I could discern no particular pattern in this behaviour.

The bug started to manifest since the update around the beginning of September 2015 (just before Sept 8th) on my BQ Aquaris 4.5E.

I had the phone for some time before September 2015 and had no issue until the update.

Reinstalling OS from scratch did not fix the issue.
