Bug Description

I have disabled "Notifications and quick settings" in System Settings, yet notifications of incoming messages are still displayed on the lockscreen, including the first line or so of the message.

I'm on a bq Aquaris 4.5 with r23 installed (and all updates applied as of writing this).

reassigning to unity8 w<hich is supposed to respect that setting

Nick is this something we should obey or should the people sending up the notifications do that?

We should be using thje greeter profile which shouln't include various things based on the indicator security settings. If we're changing the profile correctly, then it's up to indicator-messaging to obey.
