Bug Description

On systems without the gtk-custom-menu-items.patch (e.g. on Arch Linux), the Messaging Menu does not work properly (see the attached screenshot):
- When I toggle my chat status, I can see dots before more than one menu items.
- Changing chat status does not always have effect.
- Checkmarks are displayed before the application menu items when I click on it.

Please fix these problems and send the gtk-custom-menu-items.patch to the upstream developers.

Thanks for filing this bug, György. The custom menu items patch will not go into gtk in its current form. I hope to find some time this cycle to come up with a proper solution for it.

Moving to GTK+ as this is really about a patch there and getting it upstreamed.
