I'm experiencing the same bug (I originally reported as bug #733242) under Ubuntu 10.10 (x86-64). I think a more accurate description however would be to state that the About Me entry is missing from the Me Menu (under icon-only mode), as the weird separator is merely a consequence of it's absence.
