Date not updated when you click the clock

Bug Description

When I click the time in the panel, after the PC is on for a few days or suspended, the date is still on the date when it was first booted. (this case 6 May while it is already 8)

Affects me too. Ubuntu 12.04.2. A date time indicator not capable of showing the right date... weird.
The today highlight on the callendar view below the date is updated correctly.
