Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. It seems that your bug report is not filed about a specific source package though, rather it is just filed against Ubuntu in general. It is important that bug reports be filed about source packages so that people interested in the package can find the bugs about it. You can find some hints about determining what package your bug might be about at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/FindRightPackage. You might also ask for help in the #ubuntu-bugs irc channel on Freenode.

To change the source package that this bug is filed about visit https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/990978/+editstatus and add the package name in the text box next to the word Package.

Probably it is because of wrongly set locale see https://bugs.launchpad.net/localization-lv/+bug/993505

I suppose I should have added a translation, the bug #993505 is about glibc mistakenly setting Sunday as the first day of week for LC_COLLATE=lv_LV even though like in everywhere else in Europe week of course starts on Monday. Whether that could cause this bug, I'm not so sure about. Also regarding that bug, it was filed against vanilla glibc shipped with Gentoo and no one has verified that the bug affects Ubuntu too.

I can confirm this problem with Ubuntu 12.04 LTS 64-Bit (3.2.0-36-generic # 57-Ubuntu SMP) and Evolution 3.2.3. I'm located in Germany and the events in the Unity Evolution Calendar Indicator have the wrong dates (-1 day of the real events).
