Bug Description

When using the Ubuntu Classic Desktop mode, the weekday and date are missing from the top panel indicator applet.

This is the default "classic" configuration in Ubuntu 10.10, which is expected to be restored when using such mode in Ubuntu 11.04.

It can be restored by left-clicking on the time, choosing "Time & Date Settings" and checking the "Weekday" and "Date & time" options.

that's the indicator-datetime default configuration, note that the GNOME session is also the unity fallback one and that's why it's tweaked to be a bit closer from unity, it might make sense to change unity defaults there

@Sebastien thanks for your comment. Unity defaults are just fine and shouldn't be impacted by fixing this. Otherwise whenever Unity changes Classic mode would be affected (and vice-versa).

Classic Desktop mode doesn't exist anymore since 11.10, can you reproduce this issue with the new Unity sessions?
