Bug Description
Binary package hint: indicator-datetime
Hi guys:
I saw an unexpected misbehavior on indicator datetime. After installing Natty Alpha 3, i noticed that my "location" is mexico city. I was like: "i need to change that" cause i live in veracruz, mexico. So i went to the indicator datetime applet and try to correct it. the indicator datetime prompts a screen to choose/select or the option to type your location. So i write down "Veracruz" and multiple options appears, proceed to select the right one and lock it again.
But when i check on the indicator it says again "Mexico city". That is the bug, i might choose any city that is on my time zone but the indicator date time will change it to a specific location. I believe that is not the expected behavior. On gnome time/date applet that worked like a charm and indicator datetime doesn't have the same behavior.
The bug is easy to reproduce just try to but any nearby city to datetime locator and it will change it.
Regards, nrayever.
