Bug Description
Ubuntu 13.10 x86_64 (release from ubuntu.com), Unity.
Time is missing on the globalmenu. The "show time on menu bar" in settings is grey (uncheckable).
I resolved the problem with apt-get update && apt-get upgrade, but it only worked once. I rebooted on more time and it's missing again.
EDIT : after filling this bug report, i rebooted once more (with sudo reboot), and it's there again ! Seems totally random.
No idea where the bug is coming, nothing shows up like crash report or other.

Thanks for reporting this. I'm pretty sure it's a duplicate of bug #1239710. There's a fix for that which will hopefully make it into an update soon.
