Bug Description
Dear Developers,
In Ubuntu 12.04, 12.10 and 13.04 release the date and time indicator set date related menu item doesn't launch date and time preferences dialog, launch only gnome-control-
In terminal if I run gnome-control-
I tested this in GNOME3 fallback session only, but I think similar simptomns happening with Unity desktop environment.
Reproducation steps:
1. Click the date and time indicator, and choose date preferences related menu item.
2. You will be see the normal GNOME Control Center application are launched, not date and time preferences dialog. Easy to ensure this, because awailable for example the a11y related preferences, keyboard related preferences, etc. If this menu item works right, general need presenting only the date and time preferences, similar with the terminal gnome-control-

Hi Attila, thanks for taking the time to report this bug.
This bug does not appear in a Unity session, but I can confirm that this happens in fallback mode. That's because indicator-datetime calls `gnome- control- center indciator- datetime` , which is a replacement for the upstream datetime panel. This panel doesn't seem to be enabled for fallback mode.
I'm not sure what the right fix is here. Maybe indicator-datetime should detect whether it is running unity and request the upstream panel otherwise? Or should the custom datetime panel be enabled in the fallback session as well?
