Bug Description
ProblemType: Bug
DistroRelease: Ubuntu 12.10 alpha3(20120724.3)
Steps to reproduce:
1. After installing the quantal aternate amd64 iso to a VM with choosing the Simple Chinese as the installation language, login the system.
2. Click on the displayed time on the notification area, and then click the date and time settings, check the checkbox: weekday, date and month, so that they can be showed in the clock, then you will find that a "Invalid UTF 8" appears at the place where the time should be displayed in the notification area.

Similar to bug #1028828, I was not able to replicate this problem. Do you still encounter the problem?
There has been no new indicator-datetime release after these bugs were failed, so possibly it's something else that got fixed meanwhile?
