Bug Description

Binary package hint: indicator-appmenu

Regardless of the GUI app I run from the terminal, nautilus, gedit, gnome-charmap, I see warning that widget under allocate the needed space. I know that a change was committed the the GTK3 menu code in late April to raise these warngings. The warnging also appear when the app updates a menu, such when loading a document.

I am uncertain if this issue is indicator-appmenu or the fact that themes are broken.

(nautilus:1388): Gtk-WARNING **: gtk_widget_size_allocate(): attempt to underallocate NautilusPathBar's child GtkButton 0x837aa30. Allocation is 22x34, but minimum required size is 25x25.

(nautilus:1388): Gtk-WARNING **: gtk_widget_size_allocate(): attempt to underallocate GtkMenuBar's child GtkImageMenuItem 0x82aca30. Allocation is 27x1, but minimum required size is 20x17.

on Oneiric i386 get xsession-errors flooded by these errors.

Attached below xsession-errors immediatly after logging as "classic without effects" (same issues if logged with a different choice)

Have removed/purged all the panel icons but things are not better. Have removed/purged then reinstalled: gnome-panel*, gnome-session* but get the same issues

I only see this with applications built with gtk3/gtkmm3. Applications build with gtk2/gtkmm2 don't produce this output on the console.

I have not see this issue since the oneiric beta. I think it can be closed.
