GEdit Alt+D (Documents) and Alt+H (Help) shortcuts don't work

Bug Description
In natty with latest Unity, these two shortcuts don't work, however other apps that use these mnemonics work fine. As does GEdit without the appmenu.
So far, my investigation has got me to:
- Panel service is receiving the "menu_show" signal from appmenu
- However, the IndicatorObject
I have yet to test with gnome-panel's appmenu applet. Will do and will update here.
