Bug Description

invoking HUD doesn't display relevant items for the program I am using.
I expect the HUD to search the menu of the program in focus, and offer suggestions relevant to that program.
Instead I find it shows irrelevant content and items that are for programs that I am not using.
I am running Quantal Beta, and Precise 12.04.1 with Unity 6.6.0 in the Beta.

I'd expect some of the menu to be discoverable... this video is from 12.04, not 12.10..... but I can boot into that and try there too if you need...

to answer your question "do any menu items work for firefox" Yes, if only you use global menubar and not the local one. Either you have disabled the global menu plugin or the plugin got removed due to some reason.
