Bug Description

I have the indicator-applet on my top panel showing CPU and Network. When I first boot, the CPU used by this process is minimal. However as the days go by (I have a desktop and rarely boot it more than once every 2-3 weeks) it uses more and more CPU time. Right now for example my system has been up for 5 days and it's using 11% of my CPU:

PID USER PR NI VIRT RES SHR S %CPU %MEM TIME+ COMMAND
 3208 psmith 20 0 378m 41m 2416 S 11 1.0 501:45.70 indicator-appli

It doesn't seem like the amount of CPU needed by this small applet should increase like this.

Just to mention, this is still happening with my 12.04 release with all updates to date. I have to periodically kill the thing :-/.
