two clock applets with diff minutes

as shown in the attached screenshot, maverick has two clock applets, and whats worse, they show different times, with a diff of 1 minute and 30 sec.

The diff in minutes is due to different refresh rates.
Removing the second applet will be tracked once maverick will be released and the time indicator got more features.

I do miss the calendar on the new applet.
and according to $date the old clock applet has the proper time, while the unity one, doesnt!

also, that applet , if meant for Unity, should not be present in Gnome session, right?

no, all indicators are presents in every session for right now.

The only reason I didn't removed the clock applet before was because it's still in early development phase and will contain some calendar integration in the near future.
