Binary package hint: indicator-applet

The Application Indicator for GNOME Bluetooth shows icons in its menu when a different icon theme is used. This is wrong, all icons should be removed from the menu.

Thanks for taking time to report this bug and helping to make ubuntu better. Can you please change you theme to ambiane or radiance and see if you still get the problem

Unfortunately this is not a bug but a consequence of a design choice. As you can read in the design document of the Application Indicators -- <https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DesktopExperienceTeam/ApplicationIndicators> -- menu items can have both a checkbox and an icon. In order to accommodate for that it was chosen to align the menu items they way they are in your screenshot.

However, the menu shouldn't display any icons -- in accordance with the desktop wide settings for disabling icons in menus -- so I'm converting this bug report to a bug report against the GNOME Bluetooth applet concerning that issue.
