Binary package hint: indicator-applet
while trying to find a way to access the session-menu via keyboard i found that there is an undocumented shortcut <ctrl>+<alt>+<esc> to access the gnome-panel.
however, when using the arrow-keys to navigate trough the different applets placed there, the focus gets trapped by the indicator applet:
there is no way to escape the volume-menu and the messaging-menu.
once opened, they can be closed by pressing <esc> *only*, not even the mouse helps here.
the same happens when you hit the application menu.
this behavior is likely to happen to the session-menu too, but i didn't manage to get there by keyboard.
mind that opening those menus by mouse can be beaten by pressing esc, while opening them by keyboard can't be beaten by mouse.
