Binary package hint: indicator-applet

Screenshot attached. The MI displays as two icons, both with an empty menu.

Could you give some more information on this computer please? Was it an
upgrade or a clean install? It looks like in the screenshot that Pidgin
isn't running, is Evolution? What version of indicator-applet are you
running?

Hi,

This was a clean install, all was fine until the most recent update. I've got a Dell Mini 9, compiz on.
Evolution isn't running, neither is Pidgin.

Currently, I've removed one of the applets, but the remaining one still displays empty menu when Pidgin isn't running.

Not sure which version this is, I'm assuming the latest...

If I remember right this was becuase you were running a PPA version of indicator-applet. I'm assuming you've uninstalled it by now :)
