Bug Description
The IM framework environment variables XMODIFIERS, GTK_IM_MODULE, QT_IM_MODULE, QT4_IM_MODULE, and CLUTTER_IM_MODULE aren't being properly set by the Upstart script under Unity 8. Probably the only reason it's working under most other desktop environments is because it's handled instead by /etc/X11/
