For triaging this bug, we would need a logfile of the upgrade.

Most probably some add-on package caused this crash. It is impossible to detect the culprit with the given information.

Yes, we would need that file attached.

Emacs did install correctly after I removed the package ilisp:

root@pgd-laptop:/etc/ilisp# apt-get remove ilisp
