Bug Description
Binary package hint: ifupdown
This /etc/network/
auto lo eth0
iface lo inet loopback
iface eth0 inet static
address 130.239.18.226
netmask 255.255.255.128
broadcast 130.239.18.255
gateway 130.239.18.129
iface eth0 inet6 static
address 2001:6b0:
netmask 64
But this one works:
auto lo eth0
iface lo inet loopback
iface eth0 inet6 static
address 2001:6b0:
netmask 64
iface eth0 inet static
address 130.239.18.226
netmask 255.255.255.128
broadcast 130.239.18.255
gateway 130.239.18.129
There is no mention of such a limitation in the manual for interfaces(5) and is rather confusing since there is no error mention, it just comes up without 2001:6b0:

I can comfirm this bug AND the given workaround.
Took me some weeks lacking usable IPv6-support to find this hint. :-(
