IDO calendar should replace GtkCalendar wrapper with a grid layout menu

Bug Description

IDO calendar menu item wraps GtkCalendar and the effect is poor keyboard interaction, spurious focus changes, week start date unconfigurable.

The proposed solution is to develop the IDO calendar menu item further by removing the wrapped GtkWidget and replacing it with a custom grid layout menu.

Karl, shouldn't you mark some of those other bug reports as duplicates of this one? They're definitely duplicates of something.

Firstly because this is not necessarily the only solution to those bugs (even if it is probably the best solution). For example, half of bug 741011 is now fixed. And secondly because anyone re-reporting any of those problems would be unlikely to guess that this bug report covered them.
