2009-09-21 04:32:25 Dana Goyette description Binary package hint: ibus-table With the old SCIM input method framework, one could use the LaTeX input method to enter useful symbols, such as \pi for π and \Pi for Π, but the new SCIM framework seems rather broken. Instead of waiting for a backslash, it triggers immediately, and tries to match everything you type, as one very long string. Thus, you get the following behavior: ibustriestomatcheverycharacteryoutypetothetable,　soitendsupeatingalmosteverysinglespaceyoutype,　onlystoppingonpunctuation. Binary package hint: ibus-table With the old SCIM input method framework, one could use the LaTeX input method (package scim-tables-additional) to enter useful symbols, such as \pi for π and \Pi for Π, but the new IBUS framework seems rather broken. Instead of waiting for a backslash, it triggers immediately -- and then tries, unsuccessfully, to match everything you type. Thus, you get the following behavior: ibustriestomatcheverycharacteryoutypetothetable,　soitendsupeatingalmosteverysinglespaceyoutype,　onlystoppingonpunctuation.
