Bug Description

The problem described here https://code.google.com/p/ibus/issues/detail?id=1689 is caused by the version mismatch.

My Mint system is installed from the Debian repository, and I have both 1.4.X and 1.5.X installed at the same time: ibus-1.5.3-6ubuntu2.1 and ibus-pinyin-1.4.0-2ubuntu2, which, according to the statement from ibus developers, doesn't work.

So currently ibus-pinyin is broken on all Debian-based systems.

Please either bring ibus down to 1.4 or ibus-pinyin up to 1.5

The problem is still there.
Now ibus is at 1.5.3 and ibus-pinyin is at 1.4.0, and it malfunctions liks I described.

Anybody is there? Anybody is maintainig ibus-pinyin?

Just update it to 1.5.3 as well. No harm will be done since it is broken anyway.
