i8k shows incorrect fan speed on laptop Dell E6510 latitude

Bug Description

On Ubuntu 12.04 I've installed (modprobe i8k force=1) module on my Dell Laptop E6510. sensors shows output:

i8k-virtual-0
Adapter: Virtual device
Right Fan: 80730 RPM
CPU: +57.0°C

i8kfan shows:

and rest of temperatures:

computer from left side os very hot and its hard to use mouse on the left side bacuse of temperature....

Additionaly using this module enabled on my laptop dell E6510 causes weird usb problems: after boot up dmesg says: nobody cared (try booting with the "irqpoll" option)and mouse after a few cursor moves stops working.....

Hello!

Please, could you post 'i8kctl temp' here.

Also, try 'i8kfan - 2' and to see if fan switch to max speed even it is for a few seconds.
