Bug Description

Binary package hint: humanity-icon-theme

Ubuntu Version: 11.04
Package Version: 0.5.3.10

The gdm greeter (i.e. login screen) displays the avatar icon for the default Gnome Icon Theme and not the Humanity Theme as in previous versions.

I believe that this is because the version of gdm used in Natty now looks for the 'avatar-default' icon and not 'stock_person', as can be seen in the gdm commit messages (http://git.gnome.org/browse/gdm/log/?qt=grep&q=avatar). Since the Humanity Theme inherits 'gnome', the default Gnome version is found and used.

I have not install Oneiric, but it seems that the icon used in the user menu is also from the Gnome icon theme and not Humanity.

This could be a similar naming issue.
