This is a problem with how Firefox uses the theme colors.

This bug is an upstream one and it would be quite helpful if somebody experiencing it could send the bug the to the people writing the software. You can learn more about how to do this for various upstreams at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/Upstream. Thanks in advance!

Firefox is among the apps , which cannot handle dark themes , it because it use a hapazard way to use the colors.

The theme cannot do much since changing the color would cause the colors to alter , elsewhere.

Can someone provide a reduced test case?

In case you have yahoo! mail account

Testcase
------------
1) Change Gnome theme to darkroom
2) Log in yahoo! mail
3) Revert to 'Yahoo! Mail Classic Interface'
4) You will see the button with font are invisible http://launchpadlibrarian.net/35098522/darkroom-screenshot.png

It's still present even in psyke's visual-refresh merge proposal. I'll have a look and see if I can come up a resolution.
