Bug Description
Binary package hint: human-theme
I'm using Ubuntu 8.10 Alpha 6 updated at the moment of this report.
The version of human-theme package is 0.27
Compiz need to be enabled with the normal settings (mouse scroll to change desktop).
If you maximize a window , per example, Firefox, you expect that whole the screen, border left and border right capture the scroll of the mouse wheel, in order, per example, move up/down the web you are viewing.
The problem is that if you move the mouse pointer to the border left of the screen with the maximized windows (and without other windows behind) then the mouse scroll event is captured by the desktop and change the desktop number.
I checked the problem is in the archive "/usr/share/
<distance name="left_width" value="1"/>
the maximized windows is keeping a pixel that is captured by the desktop. I followed the bug : https:/
A clip of the bug. I only use the keyboard changing "1" to "0"
