Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-applets

The search icon for Gnome-Do (the first icon you see after 'super-space') Is a low-resolution Human icon and looks terrible. It should be replaced or linked properly to an .SVG icon like the rest. This happens under any theme regardless of the icon set.

0.8.1.3-0ubuntu1 AMD64
0.8.1.3+dfsg-0ubuntu2 AMD64

Does this really happen for you regardless of icon theme? You might be
mislead because it seems the bug where Do wouldn't pick up changes in
the icon theme has resurfaced - I have to quit & restart Do before it'll
pick up the new theme, but it *does* pick up the new theme for all
icons, including the initial search icon.

ok you're right, if I quit gnome-do and open it again it will show the changed icon. Besides that the human icon looks really low resolution when using that set as the screenshot shows.

However, this does affect a clean Ubuntu (jaunty) install with the default icon set. Does that mean this bug should be retargeted to make sure that icon set includes a search icon with better resolution?

I can confirm copying /usr/share/icons/gnome/scalable/actions/search.svg to /usr/share/icons/Human/scalable/actions/search.svg and restarting Gnome-do fixes the issue. Seems like this is a bug in the Human icon theme.

Not a gnome-do bug, so I'm marking that component invalid.

Duping to an existing wishlist bug for better human icons.
