Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-power-manager

This bug is not about the actual battery level reporting being off, but about the graphical representation of it. The apparent fullness of the battery icon is way off compared to the actual numbers: when the battery is reported as 100%, the battery icon does not appear full. When the battery is reported as 45%, the battery icon has one or two pixels of "fullness", seemingly indicating that the battery is nearly dead. In other words, the graphical representation of the battery on the panel is pretty useless, and I have to hover over it to get the tooltip to actually get an idea of my charge level.

I was expecting to get more fields to enter this info in, but I should probably mention that this is on ubuntu gutsy and power manager is reported as version 2.20.0
