hugin becomes unresponsible if "load buttons" is pressed before "tip of the day" appears

Priority: Low
Problem: If on starting hugin the "load files" button is pressed before the "Tip of the Day" dialog appears hugin becomes unresponsive - and cannot be closed by the "close" button.
Possible solution: Rempve the "modal" flag from the "Tip of the Day" dialog: There is no need to make sure that the whole application is halted as long as the Tip of the Day is displayed.

Tried to reproduce. Start is too fast on my machine.
Trid twice to run under valgrind control for a slowdown. When main frame is drawn, "tip of the say" is already shown.

So, do you mean it's not a hugin bug but a wxwidget bug ?

Apology that you had to wait so long for a reply to your bug report. In the meantime both Ubuntu and Hugin have moved on and the versions against which this report was filed (11.10 and 2011.0.0 respectively) are no longer supported/maintained. I will have to close this report.
