Bug Description
Binary package hint: hugin
Using the align option in the assistant results in the following
command: autopano-sift --maxmatches 20 /tmp/ap_resI66OG9 "/home/
failed with error code: 255
I notice that although hugin installed a package called autopano-sift the only executable of similar name is just autopano, does hugin need to call this rather than autopano-sift ?

Fix applied in Jaunty:
I wrote a patch to use the right autopano executable name by default (patch 52_ubuntu_
Patch to apply:
See debdiff
TEST CASE:
- Install Hugin with apt-get install hugin
- run it from menu, and choose the 2 picture I put in this bug report (Load images)
- Click on the Align button
- it fails with "command: autopano-sift --maxmatches 20 /tmp/ap_resBMu46W "/home/
When fixed, it should autodetect matching points automatically, and show the resulting panorama.
When uninstalling Hugin, don't forget to delete .hugin directory in your home
Risk of regression:
- As this affect default parameters, it won't affect existing users that already fixed the bad default executable command (that's why you have to delete .hugin directory to reproduce the problem)
- In case of wrong new default parameters, it will still be possible to update the parameters manually.
- hugin has no rdepend

The correct command for autopano-sift is:
executable: autopano-complete
Parameters: --points %p -o %o %i
This will be the value by default in next release.
Also, you can install the version that I have in my ppa in the meanwhile (http:// ppa.launchpad. net/fabricesp/ ubuntu)
