Bug Description
Tested on 22.04 x86_64 fully updated as of 2022-07-24.
To reproduce install hstr and issue hstr command.
It is no longer possible to operate on entries displayed by hstr: return to execute or TAB/right to send selected entry to the command line instead simply return to an empty prompt.
Building hstr 2.5.0 (the same as packaged on Ubuntu 22.04) from github has the same result.
Other distributions (for example Arch) also packaging hstr 2.5.0 do not show this behaviour.
It is likely that another recent Ubuntu package update is the cause

Apologies - accidentally sent the previous bug report too early while I was still editing it.
Issue can be closed: triaging the fault has led to the 5.18.12 > 5.18.14 kernel upgrade on all my effected systems. Not sure how that is possible but nonetheless I am unable to replicate this issue on a vanilla 22.04 install. Installing the suspected 5.18.14 kernel immediately triggers the issue however. I have reported this strange result to the relevant kernel maintainer.
Apologies again for the noise.
