Bug Description

In a test upgrade from lucid to precise:

Selecting previously unselected package libsane-hpaio.
Unpacking libsane-hpaio (from .../libsane-hpaio_3.12.2-1ubuntu1_i386.deb) ...
dpkg: error processing /var/cache/apt/archives/libsane-hpaio_3.12.2-1ubuntu1_i386.deb (--unpack):
 trying to overwrite '/usr/share/hplip/data/models/models.dat', which is also in package hplip-data 3.10.2-2ubuntu2

I suspect a Replaces is needed to account for the moved file.

This bug was fixed in the package hplip - 3.12.2-1ubuntu2

hplip (3.12.2-1ubuntu2) precise; urgency=low

  * debian/control: Added Replaces/Breaks on hplip-data (<< 3.10.5-4ubuntu1)
    to the libsane-hpaio binary package, to make update from Ubuntu Lucid LTS
    to Precise LTS working (LP: #954847).
