I had to restart in secure mood, tho fix problems with the nvidiadrivers, and then this bug came

Thank you for submitting this bug and reporting a problem with hplip. You made this bug report some time ago and Ubuntu and hplip have been updated since then.

Could you confirm that this is no longer a problem and that we can close the ticket?
If it is still a problem, are you still interested in finding a solution to this bug?
If you are, could you let us know and, in the current version, could you run the following (only once):
apport-collect 616450
and upload the updated logs and and any other logs that are relevant for this particular issue.

Hi,
this bug is caused by more arguments than argument specifiers in formatted string. Imho adding pid to the formatted string is obsolete because bug function in hpfax adds pid to the message itself. After removal of pid, call to bug function works as expected.

Thanks for the update. I have just emailed one of the head hplip triagers to find out what the next steps are. Please note that many of the triagers are volunteers and it may take some time to get a response back.
