I'm marking this bug as confirmed as it's clearly experienced by lots of people. It can also be reproduced easily. If you have the "HP System Tray Service" service enabled in your start-up applications or if you run the hp-systray application manually, you get the error after a minute or so. It does not appear to matter if the printer is on-line or off-line. When run from the command line, this is the output:

---
/usr/lib/pymodules/python2.6/gtk-2.0/gtk/__init__.py:127: RuntimeWarning: PyOS_InputHook is not available for interactive use of PyGTK
  set_interactive(1)
Segmentation fault (core dumped)
----

Sometimes the tool does not cause the errior when run from the command line until you exit the tool.
