Bug Description
Binary package hint: hplip
I purchase an HP printer/scanner two days ago and plugged it into my Lucid laptop. Instantly useful in all ways, although I did notice that after I installed hp-toolbox and used it to fire up a scan it wanted to launch xsane instead of simple-scan.
AFAICT the two tools accept the same command line option for device, so switching "xsane" for "simple-scan" worked fine for me.
I suggest doing that in the default setup, since this is the new default scanning tool for Lucid.
